About Ritter + Ramsey

We would like to share with you the beginnings of Ritter and Ramsey General and Cosmetic Dentistry. Many of our loyal and long term patients know how we started, yet for everyone else, its an opportunity to share.

Dr. Rob Ritter grew up in Palm Beach County, went to college at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fl. He attended and graduated the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1994. He returned to Palm Beach County and began to practice dentistry as an associate in the south part of the county. He came an associate at a very well established practice in 1996 and shortly thereafter he bought the dental practice. Dr. Ritter began his lifelong journey of education by taking CE courses that changed the direction, purpose and focus of his dental pursuits. He quickly changed the name of the practice to The Studio of Esthetic Dentistry to focus primarily on adhesive cosmetic dentistry, with a special emphasis on Smile Designs, Smile Makeovers, and Porcelain Veneers. The practice continued to grow and Dr. Ritter became an acknowledged leader in dentistry, teaching other dentists to perform cosmetic dentistry at a higher level at PAC~live in San Francisco, Ca. Dr. Ritter attended the Spear Education continuum in his early years, 7 courses over the period of 3 years,  to proved an integrated approach to complex and long lasting cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Chris Ramsey also grew up in Jupiter, Fl. He graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University and then attended Temple University College of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1999. He moved back to Palm Beach County and became an associate in Jupiter. Dr. Ramsey took a cosmetic dentistry course on how to provide Porcelain Veneers 6 months after graduating, thus starting his journey, paralleling Dr. Ritter's as being leaders in the cosmetic revolution. Dr. Ramsey is an accredited member of the largest Cosmetic Dentistry academy in the world. Dr. Ramsey had to submit 5 cases of cosmetic dentistry and passed all 5 cases to become accredited, a feat which took 5 years to accomplish. Dr. Ritter is a general member and has been since 1998.

Dr. Ritter is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. The academy is the oldest such academy in dentistry. There are only 165 total members allowed in this academy which prides it self on the highest ethical and moral standards for restorative dentists, providing the best dentistry in the United States.

Drs. Ritter and Ramsey are also members of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. This academy is 45 years old, and the members are the leader in the field of cosmetic and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Ramsey is an associate member of which there are only 100 allowed in at one time, Dr. Ritter is a Fellow of the academy of which only 100 are allowed at one time. This puts both dentists as the only 3 members of both academies, the AARD and the AAED in South Florida. The path to membership took years to accomplish, with rules, submissions, presentations and recommendations along the path.

Drs. Ritter and Ramsey are also members are past Presidents of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This academy was founded 20 years ago as an affiliate of the larger American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, to provide the highest level of education for cosmetic dentists here in Florida. Both Drs. have lectured and continue to lecture to dentists all over the globe. Over the last 20 years alone they have combined to give 500 courses to share information and to teach esthetic techniques, communication and online presence.
