Why you should consider living in Jupiter, FL

If you’re looking for a relaxing, coastal life, Jupiter is the place for you. Located on the North end of the Miami metropolitan area, Jupiter’s charm is unmatched. We’re far enough away from Miami that the hectic pace of city life is not found here. If city life is what you’re after, we’re close enough to drive there in no time. Here are some things that Jupiter has to offer.

What would a South Florida coastal town be without beaches? Our beaches are the best. We have six sections of coastline that offer stunning scenery and wonderful activities. Beach goers enjoy free parking, warm water, and lots of diversity. Each beach is unique and is maintained to the highest standard. Water sports enthusiasts will find what they are looking for here. We are known for snorkeling and scuba diving with dolphins, deep-sea fishing, surfing, swimming, jet skiing, and more. No matter what you are looking for by the water, you are sure to find it here.

The climate is perfect. If you are looking to escape the snow, you have found the right place. We don’t have any, ever. We average 235 days per year of sunshine. The average winter temperature is in the 60s and the summer is a nice and toasty 80-90. Our air quality is heavenly because we benefit from a nice ocean breeze, which helps tamp down the humidity.

The scenery is beautiful. We offer stunning water views and lush woodlands. We are known for our famous inlet lighthouse, which can be seen throughout the region and is a site to behold. You are never far from a view of the water here either. We have a coastline, river, inlet, and many little lakes and ponds.

We have amazing parks and recreation. Our parks are unmatched. Riverbend Park is known for its amazing views and activities. If you are looking for hiking, biking, boating, and picnicking, this is your spot. Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park is a memorial to the Seminole War, which is an integral part of our rich history. Battlefield Park is great for picnicking, kayaking, canoeing, or biking. It also offers lectures and re-enactments. Indian Creek Park is a great place for children. The playground is made entirely out of recycled material. The park also offers a great fitness center for adults, jogging trails, and volleyball courts. There is a park for everyone here.

We are also known for our wildlife, both marine and land. Jupiter is home to a Marinelife Center at Loggerhead Park, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Huckshorn Arboretum. The Marinelife Center is great for learning and leisure. The
Center provides guided tours and student activities. The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is dedicated to protecting endangered animals and offers various education programs. The Arboretum is great for nature walks and relaxation. It offers a butterfly garden and wonderful plant life.

Jupiter also values art, culture, and diversity. We have a non-profit theatre that puts on performances of classic plays and is highly reviewed. We also have the Hibel Art Gallery located at Florida Atlantic University. This gallery is dedicated to the artwork of Edna Hibel, an American art icon. The gallery also features work from local artists. We also pride ourselves on the diversity of faith in our community. Jupiter is home to 30 churches that represent many creeds and practices. We are welcoming to all.

All of these things make Jupiter one of the top places to live in Florida, the U.S., and the world.
