Sandwiched between Lake Worth and Greenacres is the Lake Worth Corridor The community is an unincorporated rural area that is now home to over 20,000 residents. This geographically also puts you 10 to 12 miles south of West Palm Beach and a solid 65 miles north of Miami. From the center of town to the center of town it can be three miles east to Lake Worth, which is a beautiful beach town.

What does it mean to be a Census Based Population area? Lake Worth Corridor is indeed considered such an area. This is a given area that the number of residents in the area define the area, not really a community as such with municipal services. In this case we have more than 20,000 residents living in only about four square miles. Police, Fire and EMS services are provided by Palm Beach County. The state determines at various times what areas can be annexed into neighboring cities. Sometimes areas are left unincorporated to promote their rural character. This mixture is unique to the lagoon and therefore creates a unique habitat for fish, mammals, reptiles and birds. From Lake Worth Corridor you can head up or down the coast and find many options on the beaches. You can paddleboard, surf, swim or enjoy the beach. You can scuba dive and snorkel. In the back waterways and rivers you can fish. There are countless museums, city events, ethnic dining adventures, pubs, live entertainment, outdoor activities all day, every day.
